Situated in an exclusive, modern development right on the Gateshead quayside, the apartment is only a few minutes walk to the Newcastle quayside with its bars, restaurants, iconic bridges. The world-renowned Sage Music Centre and Baltic Art gallery are literally right outside the door of the apartment block. The shopping, theatres and restaurants of Newcastle city centre are a short 15-20 minute walk away or a regular bus service stops just outside the apartment block. A large Tesco store is only a few minutes from the apartment.


About the Apartment

The apartment has two bedrooms - one with a king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom and a second with twin beds, although it can actually sleep up to six people with sofa beds. The apartment can easily accommodate a large family with plenty of space and seating in the lounge, two bathrooms, separate bedrooms and kitchen.


The large, comfy lounge leads onto the balcony with views of the River Tyne and its famous bridges, a 50" flat screen TV, a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, an iPod docking station and free wireless broadband. A dining area has seating for six people.


The separate kitchen has all the utensils and equipment you could want for a holiday or short stay, including a separate oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer. Dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, washing up liquid, etc are all provided.


A free, allocated, covered, secure parking space is available in an adjacent block. The apartment and parking block are accessible to wheelchairs.


The apartment comes with many small items that make a stay enjoyable and hassle-free, such as a hair-dryer, ironing board and iron, free tea and coffee, secure entry to the building and on-call maintenance for any problems. A high chair and travel cot are vailablke on request.


Getting Around

Gateshead Interchange is close to the apartment and as well as numerous shops is a stop on Newcastle's urban rail network, Metro and many local bus services. Newcastle Central Station is a 15-20 minute walk from the apartment or a short taxi ride, and is a gateway to Newcastle's suburban Metro system as well as trains further afield to destinations such as Edinburgh and Durham. Taxis are also plentiful at the station, although a contact list is in the apartment. A regular bus services stops outside the apartment block that serves many Gateshead and Newcastle destinations.

Making a Booking

The apartment has a two-night minimum stay. Prices start from £80 per night and are based on length of stay and the number of guests.
